Pre-Owned Gutter Machine FAQs
What does pre-owned mean at KWM Gutterman?
A pre-owned KWM machine is a trade-in or refurbished unit that is inspected and evaluated by our team before resale. Because we manufacture the machines, we can assess roller condition, drive system wear, frame condition, and electrical function against factory standards, and you keep access to genuine parts, documentation, and technical support after the sale.
How much does a pre-owned gutter machine cost?
Pre-owned seamless gutter machines typically range from $4,000 to $12,000. The final price depends on the machine size, profile, overall condition, and which accessories are included. Contact KWM Gutterman for current pricing on available units.
Can I finance a pre-owned gutter machine?
Yes. Financing is available on qualifying pre-owned equipment. Most applications receive a credit decision within 24 to 48 hours, and terms typically run 48 to 60 months depending on credit profile and equipment price. Visit the KWM Gutterman financing page for details and to apply.
Are parts and support still available for pre-owned machines?
Yes. KWM Gutterman stocks genuine replacement parts and provides machine manuals and technical support for our machines, including pre-owned units. This is the main advantage of buying a factory-supported machine rather than a private-sale machine with no parts channel behind it.
What sizes and profiles are available pre-owned?
Pre-owned availability varies by what has been traded in or refurbished. New IronMan machines are built in 4.5", 5", 6", 7", and 8" sizes, plus combo machines, and are available for K-Style, half-round, and fascia profiles. Tell us what you run and we will let you know what is available or expected in pre-owned inventory.
How often does pre-owned inventory change?
Availability depends on trade-ins and refurbished units coming through our Rockdale, Illinois facility, so it changes throughout the year. If nothing is listed today, contact KWM Gutterman and we can let you know what is expected.
What should I inspect before buying a used gutter machine?
Check the forming rollers for plating wear and scoring, test the drive system for slippage, run a full coil if possible to check consistency over a long run, and verify motor startup and safety switches. Our guide, What to Know Before Buying a Pre-Owned Seamless Gutter Machine, walks through the full inspection checklist.
Is a pre-owned machine a good choice for a new gutter business?
It can be, when the machine has been inspected and manufacturer support is available. A pre-owned machine lowers the upfront investment so a new contractor can start producing seamless gutters sooner and scale into a new machine as volume grows. Our team can help you compare both paths against your projected job volume.
